On our way to this picturesque island you will live the unique experience of passing the magnificent Corinth Canal. Opened in 1893, the Canal separates mainland Greece from the Peloponnese with length of 4 miles (about 6 km) and a depth of 26 ft (8 m). The Corinth Canal is not only an international shipping node but also a tourist attraction point as hundreds of thousands of tourists visit the Canal every year to admire this great project while crossing through it. We sail to the island of Zakynthos, the southernmost and third largest of the Ionian Islands. An island of diversities with sandy beaches in secluded coves where the tranquil waters are deep blue on the island’s southeastern part whereas the imposing, rocky landscape form a number of sea caves on the north-west of the island. The most famous beach on the island is Smugglers Cove also known as Navagio; on the northwest of the island over 20 years ago a coaster carrying contraband cigarettes was wrecked and washed on the beach that formed smugglers cove that is only accessible by sea and visited by thousands of visitors every year. Also, Zakynthos is the most important nesting area in the Mediterranean for the sea turtles Caretta-Caretta and with a little luck you can find yourselves swimming alongside them. A place of natural beauty with impressive landscapes, long golden sandy beaches with color as if the blue of the sea was mixed with bleaching water. Experience swimming in the emerald waters from the swim deck and the water sports facilities offered from your yacht while your crew serves you delightful drinks and appetizers. Secluded bays are on the east of the island, while the west is dominated by steep hills covered by olive trees producing one of the finest olive oils available in the world. While you enjoy your swim in the translucent waters from the swim deck or admire the breathtaking view from the large deck areas, your personal Chef will prepare a delightful lunch based on your specific requests. We then sail to the small but extremely picturesque island of Antipaxi, where it is believed that the crystal clear turquoise waters offer some of the best swimming and snorkeling opportunities in the Ionian Sea. We sail through some of the best locations of Corfu such as the Sidari beach of rocky landscape and secluded bays, the golden sandy beach of Ag. Stefanos, the tranquil sandy shore of Ag. Ioannis, Canal D' Amour that is a mixture of beaches, cliffs, caves and crystal water and the magnificent village of Benitses. These are only a few of the magnificent locations you will have the opportunity to sail through. Your Captain will anchor in the location of your choice where you will experience swimming in the emerald waters and the water sports facilities offered from your yacht.
